Military Mentorship
Our Military Mentorship Program empowers at-risk youth aiming for a career in the U.S. Armed Forces. Participants gain direct access to dedicated mentors, active duty and retired service members who serve as both guides and advocates, sharing real-world insights and inspiring a promising future.

At JWFF, we know that choosing a military career is about more than just signing up, it’s about having the right support to build a promising future. Our Military Mentorship Initiative connects at-risk youth with inspiring active duty and retired service members who serve as both mentors and advocates. These dedicated leaders, trained as Command Fitness Leaders and backed by Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitators (TSAC-F certified by the NSCA), not only guide you through physical training but also help prepare you for every step of the recruitment process.
Your journey begins with a consultation to talk about your goals and expectations. From there, you’ll get personalized advocacy, top-notch professional counseling, academic tutoring, and targeted physical development programs. Our mentors stick with you through bootcamp, initial training, and even as you transition into the Fleet or Company, ensuring that you’re fully equipped to succeed.
Ready to transform your dream of a military career into reality? Join our Military Mentorship Initiative and step confidently into a future of purpose and achievement!

Building Resilience in Youth Through Sports and Military Pathways
Engaging in sports offers powerful benefits for adolescents, particularly those navigating challenging life circumstances. Regular physical activity not only promotes healthier lifestyles but also plays a crucial role in improving mental health and emotional well-being. Through sports, young people learn to master new skills, overcome obstacles, and build self-confidence - fostering a strong sense of personal achievement.
Additionally, team sports provide a valuable social outlet, helping youth form meaningful friendships, develop communication skills, and feel a sense of belonging. These experiences can be especially transformative for foster youth, offering structure, support, and a positive path forward.
