Sports & Wellness Program
Dreams in Motion funds participation in school sports and athletic activities for foster youth who would otherwise be shut out by cost. From jersey fees to registration costs, we remove the financial barriers that stand between a young person and the team they want to join.
Sports are not a luxury for foster youth. They are a proven pathway to belonging, confidence, and identity at a time when everything else feels uncertain.

For foster youth, being part of a team can change everything. Not just athletically, but socially and emotionally. Dreams in Motion funds the costs that keep foster kids off the field, out of the gym, and off the squad so that the only thing standing between a young person and the sport they love is hard work.
Through partnerships with community organizations, we support youth in Northeast Florida who are living in group home settings and are enrolled in local schools. When a coach gives them a shot, we make sure the fees never take it away.
When cost stood between her and the chance to belong somewhere, Dreams in Motion stepped in. She joined cheer, worked her way to flyer, and her team just won their first competition.
